In the next room, Henry falls down a hole when a wooden board breaks beneath him. After Sammy is gone the trio are attacked by Searchers, Lost Ones, and Miner Searchers.Īfter the fight is over, Allison asks Henry to lead the way.

He is then attacked by the now-insane Sammy and eventually saved by Tom (now having earned his trust) and Allison. At the end of the river, Henry finds himself at the Lost Harbor, a seemingly empty village. As Henry sails through a river of ink he must escape from a Giant Bendy Hand to survive. Henry escapes the hideout through a secret passage shown to him by messages on the walls shown to him through the seeing tool and makes his way to a barge. Allison and Tom escape and leave Henry behind, unable to get him out in time.

During a conversation between Tom and Allison, Allison explains that The Ink Demon has found the hideout and that they need to escape. Eventually, Allison, now trusting Henry, gives him a piece of glass known as the seeing tool that reveals hidden messages throughout the world when Henry looks through it. Henry comments on the song Allison is singing, claiming he recognizes it. He is locked in a prison because Tom distrusts him. The chapter starts with Henry waking up in a bed at Tom and Allison's hideout. Having gained and lost allies along with enemies, the end of the Ink Demon finally reveals itself. We still don't have answers to those questions, but we do have two very interesting updates on the title.Henry reaches the end of his journey. But, fans are still wondering how Dark Revival connects to the first game, and who Audrey is.

A mobile spinoff game titled Boris and the Dark Survival was released in February, tiding fans over. The game was also given a delay into 2020. The last trailer was released in December, showing new protagonist Audrey and presumably a new kind of ink monster. Chased by a demonic incarnation of a cartoon character, the game offered some fun scares. Set in a defunct cartoon studio, Ink Machine followed Henry Stein unraveling the sinister secrets behind Joey Drew Studios.

The foray into Joey Drew Studios was received positively for its unique setting and story. There's finally an update on Bendy and the Dark Revival, and it's something fans probably didn't see coming.ĭark Revival is the highly-anticipated followup to 2017's Bendy and the Ink Machine.
